history in sports teams is semi-irrelavent....if you base opinions on sports history alone your a fuckin lame point blank.....

it only matters what you do this year pretty much...

Well since you want to speak history didn't your Titans/Oilers pull the biggest choke job in NFL playoff history? Weren't they leading the Bills by 32 points at the half and lost the game? Was it the Bills back-up that led the comeback? LOL.... damn choke artist!

Breaking news: Raiders cut Schweigert

The Raiders released veteran safety Stuart Schweigert on Tuesday, two sources close to the team said, ending his stay after four off-and-on seasons.

Schweigert lost his starting job to injury in midseason last year and never got it back from Hiram Eugene. His job security took another blow in the offseason when the Raiders signed Giants strong safety Gibril Wilson and shifted Michael Huff to free safety.

A third-round pick in 2004, Schweigert reported to Organized Team Activities last week but "tweaked his leg," Raiders coach Lane Kiffin said Thursday with elaborating on the injury.

Schweigert had 69 tackles and two interceptions last season, and finished with 268 tackles and four interceptions in four years. He was often criticized for poor or missed tackling but remained the starter in 13 games in 2005, 16 games in 2006 and the first nine games last year.

Schweigert was informed of his dismissal Tuesday morning when the team returned for voluntary workouts.

So if only this year matters why the fuck do you always bring up the last 5 years name one great thing your team has ever done besides win regular season games and lose one damn superbowl. as far as this year goes are squads looking better than them damn titans.since its only the damn offseason and dont get to crying about my typing ,I guess you had to prove some point to yourself ,and I think your secretly a raider groupie, coming in here talking shit, this thread said OAKLAND RAIDERS, not groupie Batch's.

That boy could not angle himself to tackle for shit.
I know huh... he used to piss me off. He would have a clear shot at L.T. but he would take the wrong angle and then go for the shoe string/ankle tackle. I am suprised he was a Raider for that long... and a starter at that.

Man we shouldn't pay that cat no attention, especially since he thinks Lendale has the talent to become an "elite" back.

I don't think the superbowl was that one sided until the 4th quarter....from what I remember there was at least 2 4th quart picks and I know one (if not both) were retuned for touchdowns...there were 5 picks thrown but the score wasn't horribly lopsided until the very end....but then again that could'v just been a fan perspective

It wasnt just a fan perspective, it was 35-21 at some point in the 4th, thats not exactly close but sure the fuck aint a blow out. Gannon then threw 2 picks for tds.

lmao looking way better after a top 3 pick? talk about rebuilding.......atleast the titans can rebuild....it was that long ago that we were a top three pick....took us a couple years to kick it into gear but yall havnt even got it into 2nd yet...

win more then you lose in a season and ill start taking the raiders a lil more serious...

but yeah the TITANS fan is the only one that feels this way about the raiders......all the networks are picking up on the raiders huge turn-a-round this offeseason...

I remember that game. After the first half...there's no way you could feel good about it, as a Raiders fan. The score means shit when you're getting out-THOUGHT so hard...coaching was questionable, to say the least.

They might as well have lost by 105235325235235 points. It was that bad at the end.

The team CAN move in the right direction; we just need Big Gay Al to die.

he was never in position to make plays. probably the weakest link on defense the last 2 if not 3 years.
