If he was going to open fire on police, he wouldn't have tossed a fully loaded weapon and ran. Is that how they cover their asses? "Umm, it looked like he was going to pull another weapon". That would be believable if dude emptied the first gun before tossin' it.

One of my old boys is an Oakland cop. Needless to say, I haven't spoken to him since he got the job. He was 24, new hire, and already talkin' shit about shootin' and beatin' people that "deserve it".

Co-sign....for the time being....without the facts...I'd have to agree there both to blame.......However...I took a Criminal Justice course back when I was Pittsburg at LMC.....Ollie Sansen was a cop for 30 something years and been instructing for at least a Decade. I remember him saying that Cops are never trained to shoot for the head or any limbs. There always supposesd to shoot for center mass. That doesn't mean a whole lot though...the kid could have been ducking..or the cop could have been running and trying to shoot............but so far I'd lean toward the cop be the fucc up here.
