RIGHT ON MADD DOGG , I'M VERY HAPPY TO SEE Y'ALL CHOPPIN IT UP ABOUT THIS.
EVERYONE READING THIS POST IS SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THAT SIDE SHOWS ARE NOT DANGEROUS......PEOPLE WHO COME TO THE SIDE SHOWS ARE........ LEGALIZING SIDESHOWS WILL CURB PROBLEMS BY REGULATING ATTENDANCE AND GIVING THE PEOPLE SERVIN' THEY'RE SH-T A CHANCE TO MAKE SOME BREAD CONSTRUCTIVELY, AFTER SPONSORSHIP AND PRIZE MONEY IS INVOLVED.
THIS NEW SPECTATOR LAW IS BEING USED TO CRIMINALIZE YOUTH IN POOR COMMUNITIES FOR BEING OUT OF THE HOUSE @ A CERTAIN TIME.......SO THEY REMAIN INDOORS OR FACE GOING TO JAIL FOR WALKING DOWN THE STREET AT A CERTAIN TIME IN THEIR COMMUNITY TO DO SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS HITTIN THE STORE UP FOR A PACK OF CIGS OR SOMETHING.....THIS IS A MUTATED START TO MARTIAL LAW.
AND FOR THE RECORD I'M FROM OAKLAND AND I'VE LOST HOMEBOYS TO VIOLENCE.
NOT CARS.
SIDE SHOWS HAPPEN ALL OVER THE BAY.....WHY IS OAKLAND THE ONLY CITY WITH THE LAW? WILL WE SEE A SIDE SHOW LAW LIKE THIS PASSED IN FREMONT? CONCORD? MARIN? ROSA?

Cuz as far as I know there hasnt been anyone killed at a sideshow in concord or marin... N im sure there's more sideshows in oaktown than all the other bay counties combined so it's more of a 'problem' but the murders is what gets cops/politicians on our nuts. fuck this law though what a bunch of bullshit cuz they cant find a real way to solve a problem.
thats a stupid law and its not gonna accomplish nothing...sideshows will continue to go down and people are still goin come thru..the only thing i see happening is a more chaotic environment, maybe even more people gettin hurt..they act like when they come thru muthafuccas are just gonna post, they gonna scatter like roaches man, its gonna be madness

What this is above anything is a media ploy to steer away from the fact that the Oakland Police can't succesfully stop any real crime. Its like this "Lets stop those side shows and show news stories on that, maybe people will forget we have one of the highest crime rates in the state". Nice try but i'm not buying it.
