How exactly does that make his post invalid? Alex Smith sucking doesn't change the fact that raider fans were saying Russell was better than VY.
That being said.. Alex Smith doesn't suck as badly as everyone makes it seem. He would be on pace for around 3,500-4,000 yards and somewhere in the neighborhood of 25-30 TDs this year. He obviously throws too many INTs, but he's not putting up Russell's 120 yards, 2-3 INTs and 0 TDs per game.
I'm not saying Alex is a good QB. I'll be among the first to bash him when he fucks up. To make it simple, I don't want him as our QB, but he's not as bad as a lot of you want him to be. He's a lot better than Russell and if VY is better than him, it's not by much. I say this because VY isn't a good QB either.
