Nortenos, Surenos...this shit is older than us.

Could you imagine how powerful our people would be if we left that shit alone & came together.

See yall gotta stop grouping everyone up into categories....not all norteno rappers rhyme about the same shit, big oso and woodie got some sick as rhymes...tokztero got some off the wall shit but he's sick....I listen to rappers because of their skills and if I'm feelin it, not because they happen to be nortenos. I support all latin music....

Now I know most of u are not gunna go out and bump that shit but u gotta give credit where its due....but then again this is comin from ppl who think that dude conejos rhymes are tight...

i've listened to both sides of the music and i don't bang, but..........................
surenos tend to have more flow than norteno rappers. not to say some norteno rappers got talent.
and sureno beats were mostly comprised of oldies, but times have changed, i mean, some keep the oldie vibe, but most times, nortenos got better beats.
shit, why dont they link up and do a southern cali vs. northern cali compilation w/ no beefs (no "i'm a scrap killa/i'm a chap peela" type shit)?? wouldn;t it be so sick? like a display of the best from the north and the best from the south. jusy with no bangin on wax.

as a homeboy from the north.....the only sureno rap i ever liked was BROWNSIDE and Spanish Fly...they was pretty sick and came with some real shit...but the other shit i've heard it's pretty wack and as far as norteno rappers..some of them suck too...

Big Oso Loc, Woodie, Lil Coner, Speedy, Mr. Kee, AK-D, Gangsta Flea, Big Tone, Lou-E-Lou, Lil Wyno, Tokztero, Never, B-Dawg, Shadow, Lil Los, Mousie...all them fools would shit on any sureno rapper coming out of southern cali when it comes to lyrics....

I dont bang.. But I think Norteno rap is way BETTER!! Honestly I've listened to Capone-e, Lil Rob and Snapper. Surenos rap CD sucks!! it really does suck.. Dont buy it.. I downloaded it on kazzaa and their ryhmes and flows are weak!!! Capone-E need to learn how to rap.

No one is gonna switch up their opinion cuz someone else on the otherside said some fuckin words. 4 those of u like 25 posts deep in this thread alone, post up some Mp3s or somethin to make ur point- stop arguing and netbaning.

Here in Frisko I know some choloed out nortenos and i seen some wanna be black ass south siders. In the valley n parts of the East Bay most of the nortenos I seen act/dress cholo... like Big Oso Loc. And for the dudes talkin shit about Woodie cuz he's a white norteno- Mr. Capone-E is fuckin Palestinian, and I've seen some white sureno rap cds. Here in the bay we don't trip over race qutie so much. And guess what- ITS A POSITIVE FUCKIN THING.

Last of all, don't gimme no "sur = mexican pride/raza" bullshit. If either side was true to la raza they wudn't take sides over it with other gente in the pen.

shit i dont bang or no shit but i would have to say that Northside shit has some good shit and has some week ass shit, i would also say the same about the Southerners let got some tight flows ,but neither group is better than eachother,if you are talking artists specificaly......thats a whole different story,but you gott to look at bothsides and be like not every thing is good from each side.
