I gave Donaire one round clearly, possibly two. I didn't see it close at all Donaire was landing like 5% of his punches and Rigo, while not landing a lot was out-landing Donaire. So not only was Rigo out-landing Donaire he was fighting his fight (ring generalship). Wide victory in my eyes.

my guess is it's actually more in the neck. Amateur boxers don't work out their necks as much which is what saves you from totally getting knocked out in some cases.

If you are a top 5 p4p fighter you should be able to cut-off. R Garcia had no game plan for Rigo another then land the big left hook. Being a p4p fighter means
u are a elite boxer, and elite boxer know how to cut-off the ring to land punches. HBO is the no defense brawlers network they only show respect to brawler.. Rigo with 11 fights beat a so-called #3 p4p fighter. You're an elite fighter and u didn't train hard. Lampley is going to kill himself all his hypejobs are getting schooled.

There is ring generalship and then back peddling.
Rigo mixed it up a bit and did both of those pretty equally. It's fair to say that Donaire had to chase. Rigo looked better landing but I think 3 of the rounds had Donaire landing harder shots while moving forward.

One judge had it the exact same as I did (115-112).
Either way the outcome is the same. He took the loss.

Show's how smart you are bigface - Donaire is a counter puncher by nature. He's not a brawler at all. The only times he's struggled in his career is when he's forced to be the aggressor, which Rigondeaux forced him to do.

Plus you talk about cutting off the ring as if it's easy against Rigondeaux who would slip and turn donaire every time he did catch up to him. It's not easy against a guy who's been doing this in over 400 fights.

You don't lose points for back peddling though if you're accurately landing pot shots and making the opponent miss. You shouldn't give Donaire rounds just because Rigondeaux is back peddling. It still boils down to punches landed, clean and effective punching, ring generalship and defense. And Rigo in just about every round, imo, was in clear control of all four categories.

Rigo gets mad props but Donaire is a hypejob that was bigger then almost everyone he fought. He looked like he was two times bigger then Rigo. Jumping in with his chin in the air trying to land the big left hook. I hold p4p fighters to a high standard, and not being able to hit a moving target is a sin for an elite fighter. I mean you really. You telling me that Roy Jones the guy Donaire loves
at 30 would look like he was lost all fought?? Plus add in Lampley love affair with him and u already got me heated. I hold top P4P fighters to a high standard..

He couldn't hit RIGONDEAUX, one of the best defensive & counter punching fighters in the game, not some random "moving target". Big difference homie. It's like Chavez Sr. was an all time great and he couldn't hit Pernell Whitaker. Does that mean he sucked? No, it meant Pernell Whitaker was hard as fuck to hit. Same with Rigondeaux. No one at 122 can beat Donaire except Rigo.

Rigo is an counter punched too so what is your point. Donaire never showed
that he even knows how to effectively cut-off the ring, just like Rios he chased Rigo all fight straight forward with no stepping to the side. Donaire listened to all the hype and fell in love with his left hook. You 206 call it hating, I on the other hand call it the truth. Donaire will get brutalized at 130 because he can't make 122 and 126 will be hard too. Lol. Go back to Victor C for some more PED. Lol

Landing a punch moving forward is given more credit than landing a punch going backwards. I'm not saying he's losing points or Nonito is winning because of it, I'm saying that if one guy lands 9 pot shots going backwards and the other lands 7 coming in, sometimes you can give it to the aggressor. It's always been like that. That's the difference between some people seeing it as a blow out, and then the judges and writers seeing it as close.

If it wasn't for the knockdown it would have been 117-111 on my card and that's really fair as well. The knockdown made it 115-112.

Bigface, Clearly you don't understand that when two counter punchers get in the ring, the one who plays agressor typically loses because its out of their comfort zone and the other gets to fight their fight. Which was the case of Marquez vs Mayweather, unless you think Marquez was exposed as a hype job? How well did Marquez cutoff the ring? Riddle me that,Batman.

Donaire knows how to cut the ring off. Rigo obviously has better footwork.
Why does that translate into Donaire not being able to cut the ring off?
What if he can cut it off? Does that mean Rigo has bad movement? No, it just mean Donaire has better movement. Just because one guy is good at one thing it doesnt mean the other guy is horrible at it.

It's like seeing one guy bench 1000 pounds and then another guy benches 800 pounds and you call the loser weak.

yeah I understand that but to me it didn't seem like Rigondeaux was landing on a 9-7 ratio, it was more like 10-15 to 6-3 in most rounds. I'd love to see the compubox numbers.

Also, a number of those punches off Rigo's backfoot were big, head snapping shots.

Marquez lost to the number #1 P4P fighter in boxing in Mayweather, no shame in that at all. Plus Marquez KO'ed Cuban counter punching Casemayor, but I will let u keep on making excuses for Donaire. I know what I'm talking about, why do you think Donaire was crying about random testing Rigo so bad, because he didn't want this fight at all.

This guy didn't answer a damn question I asked. Answer them or STFU. Here they are again (don't duck):

Casamayor was done at that point. Not even close to being the same.

I know what I'm talking about, why do you think Donaire was beginning about random testing Rigo so bad, because he didn't want this fight at all.
Oh so now Donaire was begging Rigo to do drug testing because he didn't want to fight, but Floyd was begging Pac to do drug testing because he wanted the fight so bad? lol you're a shot poster bigface. Your vacation made you dumber.
