I've had this software for a good year now & can say there has never been any problems. Updates every time you get online.. infections have never been found.. anyone use this? I been reading on it & its mixed reviews, pulled this & got me thinkin' maybe it isn't worth having on the comp

Nod32 has coding that keeps a back door open for the designers of the program to access it at any time. There is no way to close this access off. I wouldn't want anything like that on my computer.

I have been using nod32 for about 2yrs now and love the program. I used trend micro before this and norton and pretty much every other virus program out there. Nod32 found virus's on my comp that trend and norton with the latest virus defentions had left behind and had said my comp was clean! For me the main thing that keeps me coming back to nod32 is its rep to remove virus's. Its detection rate is incredible but its ability to remove them is even more astounding. When I had trend micro pc cillin, alot of the virus's were found but trend was unable to remove them. Nod32 has no problem with this. Also one of the things I like most about nod32 is it is not a resource hog. norton is a huge resource hog and trend can be a huge resource hog also.

it also helps to have this rep too

I've been using AVG Free for about a year or so now. No viruses yet. Actually I never even had a virus, period. I used to have Norton, but uninstalled that cr@p, it's too much of a resource hog.

Just watch what you download. Spyware and little cr@p like that is more of a threat than actual viruses IMO.

i'm using nod for like 3.5 years now, it's something you can rely on. however, you must have a good firewall, too. i suggest agnitum outpost firewall, which i'm using, or tiny firewall 2005
