Im putting out a compilation and I want it to be a comp were big bay area names are together with other indie rappers. Because here in the bay area their are many rappers that have much talent but are not being heard so I want to do this so they can get that exposure. The more the better feel me, I got artists like Mars that are horrorcore, to mob artists like XO Creep, back to Artists like Ed Dosia and folx from loudvoice records that are norteno rappers. im not paying them anything, they are getting a free copy of the compilation tho. They are being distributed digitally and in stores. Thugzy of gritty mid records is mastering the tracks, and duplicating them. Im in touch with many record stores in the south bay, valley, east bay n here in the west bay. Im selling the albums for 10 each. Im promoting the albums with a street team i have organized all through the bay, and through the internet

sounds like a good business plan, from 1999....didnt think that angle still worked but i guess it does.

production costs = little to none
sell minimum of 1,000 copies
