dogg house was weak. theres no good show in the morning other than stern. chuey is even worse than the wack ass dogghouse was so there screwed over there as well. the bay area hip hop stations should have morning shows celebrating bay area hip hop. thats when everyone is listening.....hopefully one of the stations can do something.............

i love how SLY talks like he knows all sorts of stuff, but hasnt actually worked at the station in years. But i've heard the rumors of HURBAN too.. I think Hoodrat is gonna do mornings for a while, before they decide what to do.
And as for the dude saying Stern wouldnt be shit if he was on bay radio? That doesnt make any sense. Just because bay area artists are ignored, doesnt mean radio is. KMEL is a legend in the radio biz, but even more than that, Don Blue (Star 101.3), the last Dr Don Rose (KFRC), Mankow (when he was on WILD) etc are all still big names in radio, and all came from the bay. Bay Area radio is well respected in the industry, but I guess you only think in terms of playin local rappers.
if you guys actually saw the requests and research we got, you'd see that bay artists dont even do that well. We get 10 usher requests (god only know why) for any one bay artist..daily.. It sucks, but its true... BET / MTV have forcefed this stuff on people. We have to give the people what they want. That's how you garner ratings, which in turn attract advertisers. Its corporate, sure, but what isnt in America anymore?
95Live is doin a dope job on the internet tip, and I recommend tuning into them if you want all bay all day.
wassupey, scotty. maybe sly is right or not, the fact is wild 94.9 will do ok without the doghouse. the doghouse will find better opportunities outside clear channel. i think why should not really try to challenge Sly's reputation, but try to find a solution on bringing more mainstream exposure for Bay Rap. If Live 105.3 wants to enter in the Rap Game for Bay Rap, then we all shouldn't knock the hustle of da hustla. Game does recognize Game.I think competition is good cuz it opens the doors for a lot of underground Bay bosses on the rap grind, mayn.

I see Sly's point and he makes some good arguements, and I see yours and its valid to the point which DJs have very limited power in 2005 in music programming. We know you are for the Bay, but a lot of us think your Texas bosses don't think the same way we do. now i think bout it, you might be right. isn't the howard stern show switchin to satellite around that time so i guess the morning slot at live 105 will be open. but i do sense something is going to bust loose in the next couple of weeks cuz i noticed that their sister station in sacramento has some serious funk with wild 94.9 over them trying to bite off their ideas on the cinco de mayo concert. i heard this funny ass commercial in ksfm clowning on wild 94.9 with a yin yang track and wispering jokes about 94.9. str8 hilarious. ksfm is now trying to be more local and saying they are playing the most local rap in sac.its weirded, but needed. both ksfm and 105 is owned by infiniti so i think they are giving hints of what is about to come. if any of y'all be reading the underground newspapers, they did pieces bout live 105 breaking the latest underground bay rap.
how much does chuey get paid to host the morning show? his show aight, not supa sticky icky dope.just aight.but homeboy get paid cuz don't he got 3-4 jobs or somethin wit CMC and spinnin at clubs. that shyt is the life. gettin paid to spin records and scoop numbers on the side at the clubs. ask chuey what is the game plan to working at the people's station.
