Ok Ok, now that I am done laughing. The old Rap-A-Lot Records had a better "QUALITY" catalog. Geto Boys, Scarface, FaceMob, Devin, Tela. Real "QUALITY" music.
The music on the New Rap-A-Lot Records/J. Prince Entertainment is still good music, it is just that he knows that he doesn't have to promote the albums for him to make money. He knows that every project on his labels is going to move between 50,000 and 200,000 copies making him anywhere from $400,000 and $1,600,000.
Not bad for running very few magazine ad's, getting a few BET commercials and NOT PRESSING UP SINGLES or PUSHING A SINGLE TO RADIO. Wonderful profit for J. Prince, but killing the careers and POCKETS of his artists.

Game Told!!!!

Gotta go wit the old No Limit
Same here, any label would have a hard time tryin to top any of these albums:
West Coast Bad Boys Vol. 1
TRU "Tru To the Game"
Silkk "The Shocker"
Magic "The Sky's the Limit"
C-Murder "Life or Death"
Kane & Abel "what ever their first album was called"
P "The Ghetto's tryin to kill me"
P "99 Ways to die"
P "The Ice Cream Man"
P "Ghetto Dope"
P "The Last Don"

and my personal favorite:
Mac "Shellshocked"....

In my opinion, it's clearer than water as to who was better....
No Limit had way too many classics, it's a shame a lot of this shit was slept on....

I would certainly say this is a tight call! But my personal opinion is the Old No Limit. Don't get me wrong though, the old Geto Boys and Scarface is some tight ass shit! It's just that looking at it from a business perspective, Master P and No Limit came from nowhere practically back in those days and hustled their way to the respect they earned (and to the top with losing that respect).

The new No Limit is a bunch of bullshit! Especially with them cheap ass moves that P trying to make now!
