^Yup, same with Mic-C's Candyland, And that Ballin Ass Dame - Get Rich Quick Schemes.

They had something going with their production and artists.

Don't mean to shit on your opinion but Candyland was some awful bullshit. Dame's first Cd knocked moslty cuz of the productionand features. U gotta admit that. He had good punchlines from time to time but he was average on the mic.

I never liked Hollow on the mic but everyone else on this board seems to so my opinion on his shit don't really matter.

Highside did'nt have the talent that Awol or BMR had or what C-way and Nuttfactor has now.

damn, im the only one feeling Candyland huh? I mean, I like the album cuz of the production, and Hollow rips every song hes on, im not saying Mic-C is anywhere near the artists on AWOL or BM, but the album IMO was tight.

I think Mic-C comes pretty clean on the mic.

He seems to put too much into his high pitch voice using that as his ultimate(and only) tool on the mic rather then kicking some rhymes that don't sound outdated.


@jr916...... Candylnd album cover was cheesy & gay. It looked like one of those No Limit covers with the pin & pexal graphics from the mid to late 90's.

I just listened to No Face killaz for the first time in a long time and its a lot better then i previously thought but West Coast Trippen just has way more classic material, its not a classic but some of the tracks on there are. Aother thing is West Coast Trippen is more of like a group album and No Face Killaz is more of a comp.

Lynch and X-raided were PRIME on this comp. Then you got this young vicious cat named YOUNG DROOP-who was just blowing your mind when you first heard that song--you know it was. Nonfiktion had a real dark song on there, even the Mr. Doctor song was cool. Locc 2 da brain song is hard. One of My Favorite Triple Beam songs.

That comp. was HEROIN for it's time.

no face killaz for me as well. there's quite some heated material on that comp. my favorite track has to be mortuate by slick. closely behind were the dre, lynch, x, black rhino joints. 90% of the album is nothing but solid material imo. the songs that bugged me were i love my skrilla and the celly cel track.

This is one of the best, if not the best compilation that one entire label put out in the history of rap music. The whole cd is straight fire!!! KILLA TAY showed out and all I know is that I was hooked as a fan to the whole AWOL camp after listening to WCT. As a matter of fact, I'm bout to bump that sh*t right now!!!

I forgot about the Nonfiktion song Mama Said. That shit went hard too. Sorry but that Mr. Doc track sucked. He stepped his rhymes up but the beat was ass. That Loc2Da Brain song sucked ass too.

If a person(like myself) owns most of BMR's top releases then there's almost no reason to buy the Best of BM CD. For what? For Refuse 2 Loose & a couple of other tracks.
