Maybe you should fuckin learn how to read i said the raiders 2nd and 3rd string r better then niners 2nd and 3rd string, between 1st strings yea niners r better but raiders will win this game. and next time we face niners in reg season we'll have 3 yrs experience behind JaMarcus Russel and Michael Bush. bush was suppose to be in top 15 in the draft but injury set him bak so yea raiders r bouncing bak. my guess raiders will be 7-9 this year and in 2008 be a big division threat as for the niners i think they'll win there division this year but get eliminated in the 2nd round. yea but bout this game raiders will win niners cant do shit against the #1 passing defense in the nfl and #3 overall defense and you fools need to stop hatin

IF you guys even end up signing Russel

^^Good luck Raiders will give up on him and he'll find another team with the money
No we own the rights to him and have the money why you think we got rid of Moss? Every team gets guaranteed money to give to there draft picks to sign em, but Russell is askin for to much and Davis ain't gunna give in to him thats why he went out and got Culpepper but he'll be signed by mid season at the complete lastest

Every team doesn't get guaranteed money for their draft picks. That's part of the reported issue with Rusell, he wants a six year contract and the Raiders don't have the cap room for 6 years. Releasing Moss doesn't automatically free up cap room, at least not all of it, teams still have to eat up the dead cap space, which is called "dead money". Randy had 11 mill left on his contract, I don't know how that ends up breaking down but that's a lot of dead money over the next two years one way or another.

The Raiders did allocate $12 mill for their rookie pool but long-term contract is a different story.

Also, Rusell doesn't have to play with the Raiders. If he doesn't want to play one way or another a trade could materialize. Same thing that happened with Eli Manning with the Chargers on the trade with the Vagiants.

It's a bad management by the Raider FO.They should have just traded the pick. I don't know how it goes to a few years back but as for the last couple of years, #1 pick contracts were pretty much locked up before the draft.

People could like the Raiders all they want because they like the colors and whatever other non-football related reason but it's a dysfunctional organization not worth the time with the current management.

Culpepper did better than any qb in that game niners or raiders but yeah he jus needs to get use to his new center, at least he aint walter he fumbled like every snap last year and he couldnt even catch the first snap of the game
