In fact, its even more fitting to say its an inter-urban thing, which is dominated by African-americans, the direct bloodlines to Africans, who, if you know anything about anthropology, have always liked a well-thick African woman, which is a sign of high-fertility in nearly all African cultures and tribes, even to this day.

The standards of beauty are fairly consistent cross culturally as I am sure you are well aware, but often subsets of a population deviate from the standard as a result of societal conditioning, emotional scaring, or access restrictions.
