the nickatina cr4 thread got me thinking about this. i know alot of ppl on here hate on nickatina, which i guess i could understand. but where would you rank him as far as popularity goes in the bay area? i was just up in the yay and noticed that after mac dre, nickatina seemed to be the most well stocked, but i could be wrong.

i aint hating on nickatina, i got all his cds up untill tears of a clown and got all the dre dog cds. i used to like his shit but not no more, now he knows what to rap about to make money. he spits some half ass rhymes that are still catchy but not like they were. he is making loot off his cds anyways. i just usually see white people listening to his music some skater/surfer dudes. i think nickatina aint trippin cus he gets all the white girls he wants. did you see that pic of his concert in san diego?
lol, well Nicky is probably my favorite rapper altogether and no its not cuz im white. I juss feel his shit more then most artist's shit. Nicky's music is something u can juss chill to wit ur folks without running out of energy from goin dumb to every damn hyphy song out there (lol) I unno in my eyes hes the best underground rapper in the bay unless sum1 proves me wrong.

well im just saying some people hate on him cuz he aint with the HYPHY movement like e-40 and all those other rappers. And yea nickys old shit was tight just like e-40's shit was way wayyyyyy better back in the day (alot of his verse have been VERY dissapointing lately) But nicky being the best. . . eh. . .lol dats kinda pushing it. But thats your opinion so more power to you.
Nickatina is a frisco cat who kind of keeps to himself... you don't really see him getting down with to many other bay cats, except folks already in his stable.. and perv-p style youngsters...
I'm not exactly sure what to think of him... it's sad because he has about 12 albums, but if he took the good tracks, and cut out the clips of bruce lee, all the instrumentals, and other fillers he would have about 6 sick albums.
But either way, I don't think Nickatina has had fire since he "grew out" of the ghetto. That fool loves his middle class. From the bitches, to the white boys, he caters to clubs, and realizes there's money in Jr. High... it's hard to respect him if your an oldschool fan... you just can't help but feel betrayed and sold out.

same exact thing happened with Mac Dre. Dre was on that hyphy, crazy shit, but he had a good number of white kids for fans.
