Why do you think I asked the question in the first place? I was thinking bigger than my hood. I said I don't have to prove anything because I don't need to prove that I didn't say that directly to you, because I know what I said and who I said it to. I really don't care if you think I called you every racist name in the book. It's just a message board. Now let me make this generalization, true or not: Black people think that all white people are rich, live in wonderful houses with great families, and listen to rock. If they listen to rap, they are wiggas, wanna-be gangstas.
It goes both ways; I'm not a hypocrite. I play both sides because I agree that shit is messed up for black people, but when I come in here with a curious question as to why black people call each other nigga, a term created by racist white people over 2 hundred years ago with the intent of disparaging an entire group of people?
I wasn't trying to make myself sound racist, or hateful, or whatever it was taken as. I just see it as a step backwards in terms of acceptance and tolerance, when everyone should be treated as equals. In terms of comedy, which is one of my main interests, it sucks to see a black comedian micking a white guys voice and talking about the stereotypical white problems and whatnot, but if a white comedian got up on stage and talked about fried chicken and watermelon and all the other stereotypical black things, what do you think would happen?
You tell me.
