i think twista is under the assumtion that people wanna hear him go commercial. he has a LEGION of fans who miss that "adrenanline rush" type feel to his albums, but my friend, he has gone commercial, face the facts, and i do believe it is out of his control. i'm sure his label is telling him what to spit.

and its not that the production is weak but i just didnt like it at all. kamikaze had a bit of the adreiline feel and he knows his fans like it so why would he str8 sell out. and thats how i feel on this album i think he sold out all his real fans and i usualy give the benifit of the dout. ive never wanted to get my $ back for a cd but then i never bye anything just sitting on the shelves. but i orderd the new 36 and i know that wont dissapoint me.

i think this album is jammin
he now has to have some female (slow) kind of tracks on there since now he got a female following Kamikaze sold 1.8 milionl what was Adrenaline Rush around 800,000 copies but i also think adrenaline was the tightest but shit he getting more paper now cant hate that

I don't give a damn, it's a few cuts on this cd that slap. Ya'll gotta realize that niggas ain't gonna spit the same shit, same sound, everytime out the gate. Prolly one of the few artists who can do that, is Short Dog, that nigga got the same beats, same topics, on every disc.

Money is money....and if you target the female audience...the men will follow in suit...its called business...the "rap game" is anything but...its a BUSINESS...learn about it...
so why hasn't david banner been selling good?
50 cent didn't sell like he was supposed to?
fat joe sold like crap...
people need to set aside the financial gain and do it for the love of music. yeah i rap, i produce, and yes i wanna get paid for it like the next man, but i won't jeopardize my integrity or sell out, i love music too much for that shit...its cool to make a radio cut or tow or 5, but just totally sell out your style nah i ain't with that business...look at soundscan no matter what you rap about, shit ain't sellin..

I used to say the same shit

But now I realize it's cause I had never been given the opportunity to "Sell Out"...There aint been no legitimate oppurtunity to capitalize on "Selling Out"

I think that's what most Underground artist mean...even if they don't realize it

I do agree with that...I think most people say they wont "change" because they havent been given the opportunity....I'm not saying Ra$an is one of them, but everyone knows it easier to say what you would/wouldnt do when you're not in the situation....especially if you have been trying to get on since 91(Twista's very first album)...after all that time grinding and trying to get paid..I say if he was weak, but he has ALWAYS been tight, but was never rewarded for it...Now he is just trying to get his paper so he can retire...I cant hate on that and I understand it...

i agree adrenalyne rush is his best cd, but look at the other 2. other than the adrenalyne rush (the song) i thought the rest was kind of so-so... i wasnt feelin most of the beats. the nutiin but a g thang cover would have been sick if it had a better beat.

I'M DISAPPOINTED IN THE NEW TWISTA CD ALSO. HE DIFFINETLY WENT THE COMMERCIAL ROUTE WITH THIS ONE. THE PRODUCTION WAS GOOD, BUT THIS ALBUM WAS GEARED TOWARDS THE LADIES INSTEAD OF THE CATS IN THE HOOD. HE LOST HIS HOOD FAN BASE WITH THIS SHIT. OUT OF THE 15 OR SO CUTS ON THE LP, 10 WERE STR8 COMMERCIAL JOINTS FO THE HOES. I UNDASTAND THE MOVE, BECAUSE AFTER THE SUCCESS OF "SLOW JAMZ", AND "OVERNIGHT CELEBERITY", HE FELT HE HAD TO MAKE THIS MOVE.

Mufuckas crazy as hell. Adrenaline Rush is an all-time classic.
I guess Twista gotta do what he gotta do.
I ain't heard this new cd yet but he still keepin it gangsta wit his Speedknot Mobstaz crew--Liffy Stokes and Maze. They new MobbTown cd where it's at. It's a mixtape but they ain't jackin everybody else's beats.
