New photoshop

hey everyone for everyone who are really into gfx, the new photoshop is out now its called "Photoshop CS" A*K*A "Photoshop 8". the program is off the chain. Don't know about most of you guys but this isn't PS7 meanding it can'T run on Pentinum II and low end Pentinum III, here are the system min requirements

192MB of RAM (256MB recommended)

I wouldn't recommend buying the upgrade IF the version you're currently running is an illegal copy.

online program activation. Thats some bullshit, but I know them hackers will figure it out. Not that many features that are really necisary, BUT TEXT ON A PATH, which will force me to obtain this......

You can do "text on a path" in Adobe Illustrator & simply import it into Photoshop.

I'm perfectly happy with PS 6 personally...I know the program in & out so I see no need to have to re-learn a new layout along with all of the new tools that I wouldn't use after the first week of playing with them anyhow.

ill show a pic later when i get home from school to explain better but basically you draw a line , say a curve, and then you can make the text conform to that shape.
