If you've recently bought an album from someone in the NW...let it be known. There's only a handful of artists ever mentioned on this board so I'm gonna show y'all some shit I like.
Smoke - Reflections Of A Real Life
www.myspace.com/smoke1muzik / www.myspace.com/ftssmoke
Out of the two Smoke album's I've heard, (excluding the Red Door Comp.) This is the better of the two, IMO. Solid album. No production credits though... Favorite songs: Out The Box, Full Time (Feat. Syko)
Raw B - Cunning Linguist
www.myspace.com/therealrawb / www.myspace.com/flybynightforever
This, is one of the most talented cat's I've ever heard. Period. This is his 11th album, and dude is still getting better. Only problems is the sound quality ain't as top notch as it should be, and the graphics ain't all that. But dude is sick. This is some quality hip hop.
Lost Soulz - Until Then
www.myspace.com/masterylostsoulz
Good album. More smooth type shit, good instruments. Definitely some dope beats. Good rhymes. Check it out.
Ambedext - The Dex Files
www.myspace.com/ambedext
I just put this shit in, sounds pretty fuckin dope for the first two tracks. Some shit I can definitely get into. Dude's got a lotta welll known features; Potluck, San Quinn, C-Bo, Ya Boy, Chino XL, Cool Nutz, Spice 1. I've never heard of dude before I bought the album.
Anawim - The Arrival
www.myspace.com/anawimthearrival
This is the first time I've listened to this dude. He's on some lyrical shit. Real hip hop, I can't compare it to anything though. Good listening, definitely.
Unique - Another Day Another Dollar
www.myspace.com/unique509
This is his second album. Shit goes pretty hard. On One produced a lot of the beats on the album so you know they are fresh. That's all I can tell you right now cause I gotta go get ready for the Snoop show....
I've got like 5 or 6 more albums I'll be posting up later on when I get a chance.
