I have a bad feeling that signing with Akon is going to get Ya Boy nowhere. I hope he really invests in him because Ya Boy has the potential to be a mainstream star. He needs a hit like We Run LA to get his feet wet on the mainstream platform. He needs a futuristic rap beat with Lady Gaga on it so he can get the crossover listeners. If its one thing hes good at its getting the non-rap fans to listen to his music. This will prove to be an invaluable asset when he goes mainstream.
