The G1 has alot of features that jsut arent very good. The OS on it, Android, is still very young and it will be good ina few years, as it is open-source like Linux. Right nw though, the iPhone is the best phone on the market feature wise, period. The G1 doesnt come close to the iPhone.

If you've got Tmo then I'd say go with the G1, my wife got the Behold and took it back in less than 20 mins. The G1 might not be as dope as the iPhone in some aspects but it's the best thing Tmo's got right now.

I got the g1 for christmas and its cool to me. it serves its purpose. Its not buggy at all. But when you do buy the phone, keep in mind you are getting it bare bones. Meaning you gotta customize it to how you want, by downloading various applications.

internets 35 more a month and the apps mostly suck ass i got this shit when it first came out and was happy to finally let go of my sidekick but the apps and games all suck ass so far, but i cant really complain considering all the apps and games have been free so far

Sidekick has more reliable instant messaging, but the G1 should be getting a software update soon to fix that plus alot of new features like video camera and better bluetooth support

if you have insurance you should call tmobile customer care and they'll send you a new one for free i did that a couple times when i had a sidekick and they always sent me one for free

the sidekick is basically just an aim phone, if you cant live without your aim stick with the sidekick if your trying to do other stuff on your phone besides aim get the G1
