my buddy is slick.

my buddy, my buddy, wherever i go he go
my buddy, my buddy, try ta run ima hangem out the window

its a solid album, with some clever rhymes, nothing impressive, but the production is consistently bumpin and the beat for g''d up is worth the album alone

Yeah there's some knockers on that g-unit....not as good as 50's album tho....

That jay-z is tight, give it a few more listens. I thought it sucked first time I heard it, but it grew on me.

I think that (production wise) that G-Unit shit is slappin. If it was say a Cellski or a Messy Marv over those same tracks the nay sayers would love this shit. I ain't the biggist 50 fan, but I ain't gone hate on dude. The album is solid and solid is a shit load better the most of the shit comin out in the rap game today.
Real spit... fools oh here would be like, "Mang, that whole CD is knockin', instant classic, (insert Bay artist here) came way too sick this time, the Bay is gonna blow the fuck up this time, fa sho." But put G-Unit or Jay-Z on the same shit and it's " Dawg, fuck the mainstream MTV East Coast shit", knowin' damn well most Bay artists would kill for just a fraction of that SoundScan. Don't get me wrong, Bay rap will always be my first love and the radio does focus too much on the East and South and bullshit songs, but the hating is ridiculous.

I was at Best Buy here in Frisco yesterday to get the Jigga and G-Unit albums and both of them albums were selling like hotcakes. They were sold out of the Jay-Z by the time I left. Meanwhile, the Keaks and Too Shorts and Mac Dres were overflowing on the racks. Folks then wonder why the Bay ain't doing well. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTISTS THEN... shit.

That being said, the albums are OK...

Jay-Z - 7/10 - not the classic I expected, no bonus songs, didn't have the "12 dream producers", no Pete Rock, Dre or Primo, but at least 8 songs are real tight, the Quik and Timbaland beats are sick, and the black CD concept is kinda creative.

G-Unit - 6.5/10 - a few too many love songs, but the production is well-done & knocks, lyrics are average, still gotta listen to it again, if a Bay artist flowed on these tracks, muthafuckas on here would proclaim him the secong coming.

And by the way, it's "wack", not "whack" like whacking off like the j- cats hating on V-Boy and G-Unit. LOL!

MAn the Jay-z shit is wack and the only reason i dot diss on 50 cents is because hes down with dre and westcoast..... Fuck any rap on T.V.
Your an idiot who the fuck cares who they affilated with, like them for there lyrical skillz or dont like them. Dont like them cause they affilated with some dude you like. And that Jay is classic.

Calibeats you just contradicted yourself in two sentances. You dumbshit...fuck all rap on tv, but you dont diss 50 cause hes down with dre and westcoast....what an uneducated response.

why is it this guy posts G UNIT and doesnt get banned? but someone else does..and they get BANNED?
answer that 2%
I aint 2 but cause that other idiot posted the WHOLE album. Its ok to post singles or mixtapes because they for promotional uses. But when you post full albums you get the message board in trouble due to copyright. Plus that guy got warned 3x by the admins. So they banned his ass.

-------------
Ayt heres the deal on the production on 106 and park they said. They had bunch of producers send them all kind of beats and they burned them all on cds and they started hearing the beats without knowing who made what. So they picked them by how it sounds and not buy the producers name. So they picked a lot of new producers.

50 came much sicker then what he did on Get Rich Or Die Trying:
"You Fuck Around Ill blow your brains on my New York Times/
Run home and turn to the sport section and read your mind/"

and Lloyd banks always comes hard:
"So now nigga dont exceed your speed/
because I will put G's on your fitted like the Negro Leauge"

Cd was decent but I liked the Jay much better.
