new forum??

i was thinking about requesting another forum on here for all other kinds of music to be discussed... im sure a lot of the cats on here listen to more than just rap or hip hop(rarely touched on).... i think the forum would be a good idea. you could discuss your favorite; kinds of music, albums, artists etc. also, post your own album reviews... what do y'all think?

There already is a forum for reviews, its called Judgement Day. If this site were to allow other types of music like country and metal/rock or whatever, then the title "The last remaining sanctuary for Gangsta Rap" wouldnt stand now would it?

then why is there a gathering of minds, sister side etc.? these have nothing to do with rap music

hobgoblin i was saying reviews for the specific albums in other categories than rap... and to answer your question yes, it would.... having one extra forum for all other kinds of music wouldn't take anything away from it being what it is now....

any more opinions on this?

You can give your own reviews about other albums in the Judgement day forum, although, you may or may not get the attention you want with it, but its entirely up to you to post an album review.

Putting an extra forum for all other kinds of music, is like puttin a pile of sugar next to an open window when I sleep. Before you know it, my house, in this case The Siccness, is crawling with things that should even be in there in the first place. So the only way to get rid of these things is to clean up and get rid of what made the mess.

That was probably a stupid analogy but... I duno it made sense when I wrote it.

i think there should be...i mean we have art forums, GatherinG of Minds, Sistas, that detox or i'm drunk shit, sports...it wouldn't hurt...i Guess we could discuss other Genres in the Open Forum...but i wouldn't be aGainst "other music" havinG it's own

i agree the anology you used is stupid...... do you really think a gang of people are going to flock over here because of one forum? its obvious the majority of the users on here got here because of rap music, not because of the art forum...

i think it would be a good board for those already here as i've seen many posts about other types of music.... no doubt the board would be active considering it would be ONE board discussing ALL other types of music

I listen to alot of different music so i would say it would be a good idea. I would like to talk about reggae shit thats comin out, some funk, Oldies, alot of shit. so im all for it
