40 has been second guessed his whole career starting with city hall records in the bay all the way until now. The man is a self made boss, a self made worldwide celeberity, a selfmade millionaire. 40 never had the big movie rolls, the big sponsor, the big clothing line, and the big label that his artist sold millions of records on. 40 is like every other artist in the bay he is an underdog in the industry but he prevails and succeeds because he has the package of God,Talent, character, and he does good business with people.

This goes for artist and people dissing 40 in other peoples/industry eyes it makes you look like a hater cuz they know 40 has never dirty macked anybody, spoke down on anybody, and all he does is rep the whole bay when he is away from here.

I am not saying people should kiss his ass but I am saying you should respect the man and everything he means to this part of the soil. I leave you with this question to ask your self What and where is the bay without water?

40 aint been independant since 1990. 20 years & still relevant, i think he knows what hes doing. u gotta get wit the times or get left behind like short, spice-1, bela & every1 else from that era. not sayin im lovin all these singles but i know there will b blaps o plenty on the cd & after this long i cant jump ship now. plus nobody else really knockin my socks off rite now & like i stated b4 everybody supports other bay artists singles that r just as gay even tho they hav no chance 2 blow. but u can think he sucks if u want. i just like defending him, thats my role in bart.
nice post...i been fuckin wit 40 s music so long, i kinda feel obligated to buy anything he puts out....sum songs may sound more different and less slapworthy than others, but you never count 40 out

if thats the case then 40 would be featured everywhere and would be on 106 and park or whatever fucking countdown features popular artists. if thats the case then it wouldn't have taken that nigga damn near a year just to go gold. i don't even believe you know anyone outside of this forum to be honest though......
another guy replied to this pretty weel allready, but i will add that 40 is on every remix murkin it, Get Silly , so krispy, ayebaybay, ect..... 40 can bring heat to any west, south east or popular beat.

fuck this played out ass beat..lil jon need to re-invent himself and bring sumthin new
Yeah I agree go reinvent your self when people are paying you 50%publishing and anywhere from 50-100k a track. I am glad you are not lil jon business manager!!! producers get paid a certain amount of money for a reason cuz they have a specific sound that works on radio/clubs. If you want a street record then you would not go to lil jon for the most part even tho he does have some.

There is a reason only a handfull of producers get paid BIG money. Cuz they all have there own sound/formula that works.

His last "hit" was Cyclone...

So, Well someone needs to tell his manager's SOMETHING. I agree with the other poster this guy's sound is played out, not only because his beats start sounding the same, but because he has too many imitators...he needs to reinvent himself. You're right, all of the best producers in the game have a signature sound, but at the same time...they do new things with it. Dre wouldn't have gotten as far as he has if he would have stuck with The original Chronic G-funk sound, the shit got played out...so he took some of those G-Funk elements and updated it...
