i think i heard it on boxkev last week fri night right before they played that new song by hus, jack, & quinn. i swore i heard them say "new bay shit" instead of "real bay shit".

When I first saw that Busta video for that song the same idea popped in my head but I think people are getting tired of us putting a Bay twist on shit. We should be coming out with real music while the focus is still on us.

putting your own twist on a hot songs for a mixtape is hip-hop tradition. and if you click the link then you will hear several original joints. flomasters is hot enough to stand up on their own, but due to politics you gotta do something extra to get attention. we don't got nobody cosigning us but us. we ain't in the politics of the bay we just in the streets of the bay

Busta's sounds way better. Im not even up on much Eastcoast rap, but that beat and his style just sounds good together. The Bay version sounds bootsy. Im not gonna like it just cuz you switch the words to say Bay, you gotta come with it.. just my opinion
