Fremont Mom Accused Of Making Daughter Fight
(BCN) FREMONT The mother of a 13-year-old girl was arrested in Fremont after she allegedly encouraged and participated in a fight between her daughter and another girl, Fremont Police Det. Bill Veteran said Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Fremont resident Tomeka Harper, 36, allegedly drove her daughter to find another 13-year-old girl who had insulted the girl on the Internet, Veteran said.
At about 3 p.m., Harper and her daughter located the victim outside of a gas station on Fremont and Stevenson boulevards in Fremont, Veteran said. Harper encouraged her daughter to confront the victim and engage in a physical altercation with the girl, according to Veteran.

In the course of the fight, which was videotaped by a witness, Harper allegedly became involved and also assaulted the victim.
The victim's mother broke up the fight, and Harper was arrested when police arrived on the scene, Veteran said.

Harper was taken into custody and charged with several felony counts including assault with a deadly weapon, battery against a minor and contributing to the delinquent behavior of a minor, Veteran said. She is being held on $150,000 bail.


Thats just funny shit and people wonder why kids act the way they do good old parent teaching there kid a life lessons and when that didnt work she beat the other kid up herself .... lol what ever happen to telling your kid sticks and stones will brake my bones but words will never hurt me?

I think the other mom didnt get into trouble because see didnt know her daughter was there to fight and the mom that did get into trouble i guess when her daughter was loseing jumped in and pulled the other girl off her daughter and kick that girl in the face twice i think thats were the assault with a deadly weapon came from.

FREMONT — A videotaped brawl between two 13-year-old girls has led to a mother being charged with four felonies after she directed her daughter to fight and later twice kicked her offspring's nemesis, authorities said.
The mother, a 36-year-old woman whose name is being withheld by MediaNews to protect the identity of her daughter, has been charged with assault by means likely to cause great bodily injury, false imprisonment, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and endangering the health of a child, court records show.

She was arraigned Monday at the Fremont Hall of Justice and is expected back later this week, possibly to enter a plea. The mother is being held at Santa Rita county jail in Dublin in lieu of $80,000 bail.

Police arrested the mother on Thursday, hours after she and her daughter were involved in the fight, which took place near the Valero gas station at the corner of Fremont and Stevenson boulevards, Sgt. Chris Mazzone said.

A 13-year-old girl suffered injuries to her face and body, but she was not seriously wounded, police said.

According to police reports, the mother drove her daughter to the fight, and then called out her daughter's nemesis, who was in a nearby home. As the victim emerged from her dwelling, the woman's daughter pounced on the victim and began fighting.

During the brawl, which was recorded on a cell phone by a junior high student, the mother reportedly could be heard encouraging the two girls to

fight, even at one point intimidating the victim and cursing at her,prosecutors said.
The footage also shows the mother pulling the victim off her daughter, and then twice kicking the victim, even though her daughter was urging her to stop, prosecutors said.

After the fight, police went to the woman's house and arrested her. It was unclear Monday if the woman's daughter had faced any disciplinary action at school.


I guess they went to her house the other girls mom didnt drive her to the fight it was outside there home. Thats why no charges on other mother.

Is that cause the girl was a minor?

Cause I've heard cops charge a guy who bROKE someone's nose.. and cut their face up.. from punching them so hard.... and they ONLy gave him Misdemeanor assault charges which ain't shit...

Fremont has some issues... Since my girl lives there, I'm in Fremont every other day and it looks like nothing. It's trippy knowing all this shit goes down. Guess it's trickling down from O-Town
