that shit is stupid when they give it to 2nd or 3rd year players. Of course youre supposed to get better in that time. Id give it to Hedo, hes lightin shit up after bein mediocre his whole career.

^how is he a bust when he hasn't even played in a game yet.... people didn't know olowokandi was a bust till he played, same with kwame joe smith etc

if it was a career ending injury he had then yes, that would be a bust, but it's not career ending

if ellis hadnt fallen off this last month he'd have a better chance. everyone who watches the warriors sees the massive improvement from ellis despite his numbers not showing a huge difference.

alridge is a guy whose numbers show a much bigger improvement and he is probably the front runner.

dunleavy also has a chance goin from 14 to 19 and all his percentages went way up. shooting almost 42% from 3's.

hedo turkoglu went from 13ppg last year to nearly 20 this year.

chris kaman went from 10 points and 8 boards to nearly 16 points and 13 boards.

theres no way Dumbleavy is getting it & Kaman broke down as the season progressed.
kaman got injured but fagleavy does have a good chance. he's carrying that team with jermaine injured and his numbers show huge difference

his points went from 14 to nearly 19

his 3% went from 29% to nearly 42%

also career high fg% at nearly 48%

free throws went from 79 to nearly 85

I'm trying not to be a homer but I think Aldridge at least has to be somewhere around the top of the list, at least a top 2 candidate. I would guess its between him, Dunleavy, Hedo and Gay.

I cant speak for the other guys because I havent watched them as much, but when you look at Aldridge, its not just the numbers that have gone up that impress me. Its also the way he's getting his points. He has a pretty vast array of post moves at his disposal this year, whereas last year he was primarily a Channing Frye type jump shooter with almost everything coming from 15-19 feet out. He has done everything I thought he needed to do to improve his game offensively this year aside from maybe settling for long jumpers (granted he can hit them pretty regularly for a big) a little too often. now he just needs to get stronger so he can hit the glass harder and snatch a few more boards.

All that aside, I kind of want Kevin Martin to get it cause I thought he got screwed last year.
