Just got done with the album. It was solid. I give it a 3/5 and respect to a true legend/OG. One of the few still left from the 90s still producing quality albums.
Replay-worthy tracks: Loco-Motive, Reach Out, The Don, Nasty, The Black Bond
He shouldve called this album depressed Life or Lifes a bitch. bc all he was doing on here was rapping about him and kelis breaking up(i guess she ripped his heart) and all his boys taht dead or in jail and how his life used to be. def not his best albums but its better then majority of shit dropping these days.
lmao i know. honestly he seems a lil stalkerish towards kelis. listen to that bye baby song and a couple others he is definatley still hooked on her and heartbroken. I guess she has that erika badu pussy taht changes niggas.Will-I-am was fucking her not long ago.
if you haven't gotten the message of the album...you need to listen to that shit again..
The album is fucking dope!
Yes he talks about Kelis, his daughter, his friends that are dead or not around ...but to me it looks like he's ready to start again and re-invent himself..
Great message and it's a breath of fresh air for hip hop listeners because there's nobody else that has album like that right now...
Yeah I mean you can't really be mad he's rapping about shit that is & has been happening to him lately. Seems like he's trying to keep it somewhat authentic. A couple of songs that I will def be playing for a while, but mostly not too much replay value to the rest.
i dont understand y successful rappers get married before they turn 40. if i came in the game single and got successful a single man i would be fuckin all kinds of bitches until i turn 40 or older. or i would atleast attempt to be a muslim or mormon and have multiple wives at the same damn time. fuck is wrong these rich ass mutherfuckers?
better than illmatic? damn. he was dope on illmatic tho. u talkin about lyrics? but i didnt listen to this new 1 yet. and im 1 of the not so many that say his best work is it was written.
