I know a lot of people that think Nas is some good shit.

I never really heard anything from him that I thought was worth bangin... I thought that "You can hate me now" shit was cool.. but at the time, I was 14 and cruisin' around smokin' blunts with people who thought they were high class dealers. Turns out, they were short bitches and their taste in music was anything that they thought would make them seem cooler when they pulled up to friends in parking lots.

Fuck Nas. Jada is the GOOD east coast shit, if that's what you're into.

I second that Zero... Jada is a lot better in my mind

I do like Nas, but he's overrated... I dunno.. something about the way he raps is really not my style though... Hes the kind of rapper Tech is talking about on Crybaby... screaming "hip hop is dead" yet hes making mills off that shit.. seems just a little hypocritical..

No, I'm not joking. Prodigy and Guru are ten times better than D-Block/the Lox will ever dream of being.
Prodigy is has been horrible for over half a decade, and the only reason Guru is as respected as he is is because of Premier. Listen to "Rite Where U Stand", Jada fucking DESTROYS him.

shit fuck all that... Nas is garbage now... he WAS one of the best, but that was upwards of 10 years ago now... I dl'ded that "Nigger" track, gave it a full listen through to give it a fair chance, and deleted it immediately afterwards... I'd rather watch paint dry while trying to set my hair on fire, than listen to that full album..

Redman and Method Man are my favorites as far as east coast shit goes... I don't care if they're not all analytical and "deep" with their lyrics, the beats are bangin and they make me laugh, plus they always come on point with their flows...

Whoa.. give em a lil more credit lyrically...

Atleast Meth... hes got really good lyrics

I know this... my point was they're not trying to be all deep with shit and puttin it into overdrive like Nas... the way he's spittin, he just comes off sounding forced and weak...

but yeah, as far as my tastes are concerned, Red and Meth rarely disappoint me...
