If your hard drive is dead there are companies that can get the data from it. It isn't cheap though. But does it boot up and just make a noise?

I used the NTFS one and it got back shit from a month or 2 before out of my Recycle Bin. As long as your drive is still running.

same shit happened to my externl hard drive a few weeks ago...and gettin the data on it recovered IS NOT cheap like Likwid said...you gon be lookin at a $500 minimum...
