I took a hard look and thought about this thread more than others. I have come to the conclusion that nobody in the Bay is "OVERRATED."

See, I live in Florida, and have not found one region within this state that has it going on collectively as the bay area. Whether yall believe it or not, the most bay artists are very talented, and for the most, with exception of the hyphy thing, are genuine, especially if they independent and are not following behind some "MOVEMENT."

I dont listen to no artist down here, no exceptions. I believe the bay problem is geographically, not talent and so many cats trying to rap because it's relatively easy to get in and out of the business. If the bay was dropped in the middle of the south, Atlanta would'nt be on the map. Atlanta got help from Laface, and it being a low rent boom town during the 90's.

The bay should cherish the fact they are innovators and original for the most part. Don't get caught up into shit that will divide you even more.
