I worded that wrong. Comparing Woodie to Yuk is a big fucking joke. Woodie was the best out of the norteno rappers if thats saying anything.

It depends on what they are given credit for.If someone was saying Keak was a great MC then YES he is beyond overated, but as far as being Hyphy and being a character...I would say that is prettymuch on point. Fab is quite overated as a battle rapper, but he does know how to come off the top and ryme for a long time (that doesn't mean it makes total since but...). If anything I think the Bay has more UNDERATED acts than OVERATED.

its my opinion that woodie is better then yukmouthu can think what ever u want but yuk is super over rated everyone one on here is even saying it as well.

woodie is one of tha most UNDERrated bay rappers IMO... alot of people just think he writes all norte shit but he on some other shit too. if you actually listen to a number of his songs, u will see that he has some hard ass lyrics and dude could flow for days, and u gotta give him some originality points, dude came with his own sound, his raps and his beats arent like anybody elses but compareing him to yukmouth is wierd tho, they on some completely different shit...



but as far as ovverrated in the bay:

mistah fab: dude can rap and all, im not gonna call him trashbut he can get annoying. his flows are not bad for the most part, but on evey song he comes on, its basically like every other song he's made. people are on his nuts way too hard, some people swear he is the best in the bay, but not really

the pack: again, people are on thier nuts way tooo hard. they are not garbage, and i know they are young. but they really do not go that hard on the mic. thier beats are all similar... their lyrics are all similar. they keep doing the same song over and over if you know what i mean, they have only proved that they can come on one kind of song

thats your opinion....but seriously to consider him one of the greatest rappers in the bay is saying way too much.And yes with out 40 the group doesn't do anything....i wont say b legit didn't have any dope tracks..he had a couple but overall as a group without 40 they got nothing. D shot aint done anything hot since that huckleberry track and last song that got any heat from suga t was "sprinkle me"

thats my opinion tho.

For overrated, I'm gonna have to go with Yuk. I got some of his older shit, back when he had shit with Master p and that shit was cool as fuck. Now I don't know what happened. For underrated I'ma have to go with Woodie. I don't think muthafuckaz heard his shit off of Northern Expozure 6, or 2 Sidez of the Game. His Life Storiez album was a fuckin classic as well.
