They didn't potray the joker as the hand to hand combat type in the dark knight, but really he can keep up with Batman when it comes to a one on one fight.

DC does have some good villains, but better than their heroes? not close. Dc has a shit load of good superheroes. they just aren't as well known as marvel. Examples:

Green Lantern

Captain Marvel (Shazam!)

Martian Manhunter

The Flash

Wonder Woman

Night Wing
