i gotta agree with you.there places where muthafuckas dying almost everyday in the same set.look at frisco for example,i watched a dvd about frisco hoods and maaan i really felt sorry for yall.i would hate to worry about gettin smoked just for walkin outside my house or tryin to go to the store to get my kids something to eat.by the end of the dvd almost everybody that had a interview on it was dead.theres no way i would raise my kids in a place like that.yall apartments look like prison buildings and the police treat yall like inmates.yall move to fast and traffic is a mess out there.when i go to the bay it reminds me of happy i am to live in slow ass boring modesto.but its hard as fuck to find a good job out here though.:angry:

BIGCHILL, I know what you're saying, but that happens everywhere, including Modesto. There's an area in Southside Modesto (won't name the hood), for example, that has eliminated all of their enemies (Surenos, Asian Crips, etc). People who have lived there and the Mission District in Frisco will tell you that it is worse in this area. I know a lady from LA that lives here and she hates it because she says there are so many gangsters. Nortenos from other areas (San Jo for instance) can't even come into this area. In the Robertson Rd/Sutter area you got Nortenos funkin with DO's funkin with Surenos and constant violence. Same shit in the Airport District.

Don't get me wrong, it ain't as bad as it used to be, but it's as dangerous as any hood I've seen. It doesn't bother me because I grew up here, but out-of-towners trip every time I take them through these hoods. Just like anywhere else, if you don't get involved with the drama then most likely you'll be coo, but you never know. Two foos just got shot in my hood. The homie survived, but another foo died, and he wasn't even involved in gangs. I guess it's just a matter of perspective. I've lived in the east San Fernando Valley (LA County), and I've been around the bay, and in my opinion Modesto is more dangerous. But maybe it's because I hear about more of the shit that goes on here.

as far a makin millions i gotta agree.see,they lookin at it from a different angle as a normal person.that magazine is for rich people.they not paying attention to all the black and brown killings and violence on the news.they only give a fuck about the money part.they dont give a fuck if a man loose his mind and go on a killing rampage or mexican man kills 5 black men within one week.thats forbes magazine,they wanna let people know where is a good place to make money at.

Hey homie, you lived in Ceres! This is one of the safest areas you could have lived in. Eastside is north of the Tuolumne River, and trust me, it's all bad up there too. That would be like me moving to Lodi and then talking about "Stockton ain't bad." West of Richland Ave and north of Hatch Rd is South Modesto, and it's a whole different world out there. I got family that lives off of Moffett Rd north and south of Hatch Rd. If you try to compare this area to the Eastside (Airport District or Eastside hoods) that's like comparing Elk Grove to South Sacramento.

u right.. but it's a trip how it's technically ceres, but i had a modesto address(95351).. and ceres police department would handle all the calls up there..lol

Main reason for Modesto being car theft capital:asians tryna soup up their acuras,hondas, race cars.

naw it cant be that.i dont see many rice rockets over here.Stockton got hella asians,and Stockton got hella auto thefts but per capita its lower then Modesto.......if that was the case Stockton would damn near have more thefts............


but they got hella like F-150's and Dodge Ram and Chevy trucks sittin hella high.........they erywhere over here,i aint never seen so many.shit looks raw tho........

I couldn't disagree more. Downtown Modesto is crackin every weekend. Most if not all bars are within walking distance of one another. Streets blocked off. Some of the bars get packed on Thursday's and on sometimes on other random days of the week.
