NSAC Is A Joke

The hearings of Chael Sonnen and Nick Diaz happened earlier today.

Nick Diaz was suspended for a year including part of his fight purse and any bonus he received fined by the commission for Marijuana Metabolites (which aren't even ILLEGAL).

Yet Chael Sonnen just received a free pass to roid as long as his testosterone levels don't go above 6 to 1. 6 to 1 is already crazy fucking levels. Give Anderson Silva a test the night of the fight and he'll probably be around the normal 1 to 1 level. A doctor even called into the hearing and said Chael was misdiagnosed in 2008 and he still got his free pass lol

NSAC can eat a fucking dick. Corrupt organization.

Bob Sapp Strikes Again

This actually happened a couple of days ago. It was his second thrown fight in 6 days, he folded to Pudz on May 12th and now this guy on May 18th. This is his 5th thrown fight in about 4 or 5 months and he actually has two more fights scheduled in June that are only 8 days apart. This is retarded that these orgs waste so much money on this guy. He recently said in an interview that he doesn't fight for anything less than $60,000.

people who don't know that he's a scammer and think Sapp is a big crazy monster like to see their hometown guy beat him up. Most of them don't know he's gonna fall over, curl up and tap in 30 seconds so to them it's the coolest shit ever. I'd never pay to see him fight, but I can't knock his hustle

Vitor Belfort Out Of UFC 147

http://www.mmamania.com/2012/5/27/3...out-of-wanderlei-silva-fight-with-broken-hand

You know how it goes for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White -- every day he wakes up, bad shit happens.

Yesterday, the promotion held a highly successful mixed martial arts (MMA) event on pay-per-view (PPV) with the UFC 146: "Dos Santos vs. Mir" fight card going off without a hitch and featuring a night filled with compelling fights. All the heavyweight main card delivered with five finishes and not a single bout making it past the second round.

But shortly after the show concluded, White revealed to reporters that the main event of the promotion's next scheduled show, UFC 147 on June 23, 2012, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, will no longer happen.

Indeed, Vitor Belfort has suffered a broken hand -- for which he's already had surgery on -- and will not be able to rematch Wanderlei Silva as planned. A replacement opponent is currently being sought.

This marks another bump in the road for an event plagued by problems since it was officially announced not long ago. First, the highly anticipated rematch pitting Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen was booked for the show before being moved to UFC 148 on July 7 in Las Vegas.

This after the organization had trouble finding a proper venue to house the event. They eventually found one and settled on a much smaller show but now the PPV, which already looked fairly weak on paper, has taken yet another crippling blow.

Anyone got any ideas for a new opponent for "The Axe Murderer?"

Arianny Celeste's Arrest Story From UFC 146 Weekend

http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/may/29/ufc-octagon-girls-repertoire-includes-kick-boyfrie/

A heated argument early Saturday morning in a Wynn hotel room led to the arrest of UFC Octagon Girl Arianny Celeste and her boyfriend, Metro Police said.

Celeste, 26, whose real name is Arianny Lopez, and her boyfriend, 34-year-old Praveen Chandra, each were arrested on a count of battery domestic violence, according to arrest reports released Tuesday.

A Wynn employee heard a crashing sound from a room and saw Lopez come running out of the room shortly after 4:30 a.m., the reports state.

Lopez told police her boyfriend choked her and grabbed her right arm during an argument about text messages, the reports said. Officers noted that Lopez had scratches on her right arm.

Detectives interviewed Chandra who said Lopez kicked him in the nose in a limousine, where the argument started, the reports said.

The argument escalated in the hotel room, at which point Chandra accused Lopez of throwing two vases at him, police said.

Chandra recorded parts of the argument on his cell phone, which showed him following Lopez around the hotel room and demanding to know why she kicked him in the nose, the reports said. Officers noted injuries to Chandra’s nose and scratches to his chest and arm.

“Chandra also continued to laugh at Lopez every time she said how she felt about him,” according to the arrest reports.

Chandra denied ever touching Lopez during the argument and told police he didn’t know how Lopez received cuts on her arms.

Police arrested both Lopez and Chandra and transported them to the Clark County Detention Center. Lopez was seen Saturday night at ringside at MGM Grand Garden Arena during UFC 146.

A hearing for the two in Las Vegas Justice Court is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Friday.

The two have been dating for seven months, according to the arrest reports.

UFC President Dana White briefly addressed Lopez’s arrest during a news conference Saturday at UFC 146.

“She has been with us for over five years,” White told reporters. “She is a good girl and an amazing ambassador for the UFC. I don’t know the details and what happened, but we have her back and support her 100 percent.”

Lopez, who was born in Las Vegas and studied fitness management at UNLV, has been a UFC Octagon Girl since 2006, according to her personal website.

Damn!,injuries are tearing UFC fights up lately.
Just got worse, a couple hours ago a canadian reporter on twitter said Jose Aldo was out of his fight at 149 vs. Koch and that Faber vs. Barao was moved from 148 to 149 to fill the main event spot. Now UFC.com even changed the event to UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao

Jose Aldo Out Of UFC 149

Here's the official report, just got posted within the hour

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...ulled-from-card-faber-vs-barao-new-main-event

Friday was a good day for the UFC; they didn’t have to announce a single injury or replacement fight.

If you thought the injury-free day was the start of a new trend, you’d be wrong. Saturday evening, news broke that Jose Aldo was added to the ever-growing list of fighters that have recently been pulled from a UFC main card.

The news was announced by the UFC’s Canadian wing, which tweeted:

Injury bug bites again - Aldo out for Calgary event.

This is the second injury for Aldo since he joined the UFC. The former WEC featherweight champion was set to make his debut at UFC 125, but a neck injury delayed that debut until UFC 129, where Aldo defeated Mark Hominick by unanimous decision.

Aldo has added two additional title defenses to his resume since that victory, stopping Kenny Florian and Chad Mendes in those bouts.

With Aldo off the card, it will be interesting to see if the UFC switches opponents for Aldo when he is healthy and ready to fight. The man he was scheduled to fight at UFC 149, Erik Koch, is not a widely recognized name and sits behind fighters such as Chan Sung Jung and Hatsu Hioki in the divisional rankings.

Hioki is set to face Ricardo Lamas at UFC on FX 4, while Jung is coming off a dominant win over Dustin Poirier at UFC on Fuel TV 3. A Hioki win would put him in the mix for a title shot and Jung, after his win over Poirier, already has to be in serious consideration for a title fight.

The new main event at UFC 149 will feature Urijah Faber versus Renan Barao, a fight that was moved from the UFC 148 card. That fight will be for the interim bantamweight crown, a fight that was made necessary when Faber’s original opponent, bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, was pulled from card after being hobbled by an ACL injury that required surgery.

There has been no word as to the exact nature of Aldo’s injury.
