probably even more, no label, no producers, they should get more off a single mixtape CD than an album

especially today, when CDs aren't selling particularly well

of course no mixtape has gone gold and the mixtape market is extremely saturated but maybe there's a reason why the amount of mixtapes released today exceeds that of the actual albums

nobody can produce enough quality lyrics to fill 3 CDs every month though

which is one of the reasons the overall quality of the albums is low

if artists focus more on their albums instead of dropping 20 mixtapes every year it would be much better IMO

I bought 3 mixtapes from dudes who were the opening acts, walkin around with box loads of this. Ive seen shit that looks like $5 to make 50 mixtapes N sell for $5-10 a CD! They makin they money.
