personaly i'm not really felin none of these mix tapes west coast rappers puttin out...
for 1 -
west coast has our own style as a coast and to take mainstream mtv beats n eastcoast beats n flow over them with the westcoast rap style delivery is a joke..a gat damn shame if u ask me..
for 2 -
if these artists got time to slop this garbage together why don't they take time n put out a real cd.. i aint tryin to hear half ass mixtapes over a real retail release..
for 3 -
what are our westcoast rappers hoping to accomplish from this..? a better record deal or signed to a better label?.. gettin their name out..if u want your name out make a real cd with effort behind it.and even if you do get notcied or find a better record deal through the mix tape chances are the people who want u signed will want you to change your style up since u already flowin over gay mainstream beats..westcoast rappers don't need to become industry puppets..thats the eastcoast m.c.'s job...
so why agrees or disagrees w/ me?..?

i personally agree with you... but if an artist wants to do it more power to him. I'm feeling more of the west coast Comps. Remember it takes a lot more work to make a Full length cd than a Mix tape.

The DD Mix Tape will change your mind hopefully and what i was hoping to accomplish from doing it is already happening and i havent even released it yet! Ive gotten 7 calles from major labels re: songs from the mix tape and im getting almost 20 spins a week on 3 songs on KMEL.. The nations 2nd largest radio stations but our mix tape wasnt rushed or jus thrown together we've actually been working on it for over a year.
