And you're completely missing the point. This girl died a GRUESOME death and suddenly. Patrick has been sick for MONTHS and we all knew he was GOING to die. He also continued to smoke WHILE going under cancer treatment.
This just proves that many people still feel connections with celebrity's, and they somehow have more precedent over people we read about one day that we have never heard of. Both died, yet one gets heartfelt RIP's and the other one gets jokes and disrespected, while some folks say "that is disrespectful". THAT is being a hypocrite.

I'm a Detroit sports fan, and last time I checked... the Pistons aren't shitty, the Red Wings aren't shitty, and the Tigers aren't shitty. Lions fucking suck, but at the same time Calvin Johnson was tied for 1st in TD receptions last year. Statistically, he's one of the top 5 WRs in the NFL. Just never gets recognition because he plays for the Lions.

She might have been killed INSTANTLY. and who is to say the way that she died was any more or less gruesome than having cancer eating away at your body for years. and why does it matter if he smoked or not? He was dying! Nothing he could have done would have killed him any quicker or any slower. Seems to me like you are judging a dying mans actions.
