I think the misconception of Mistah F.A.B. is kind of his fault. His real fans know what he's done and what he's about. Son Of A Pimp is probably one the best well-rounded albums that I heard for an artist up and coming, definitely classic material in there. If "If" was a Fifth was probably my favorite track. And anyone who knew about his work before hand knows he isnt all about making up words and talkin out his ass, he got a lot of real political and relevant shit.
But coming from a fan, I think his work since Son Of A Pimp has been real one-dimensional. Not a lot of depth to a lot of his work, mostly go-dumb bangers that get old within a week and so many features I don't even want to listen to it no more. And it's not his new fans' fault that they preconceive him this way, it's because he presents himself this way. Regardless, I will pick up Yellow Bus Ryda when it comes out because I do believe he has good music and hope that it's as good as his last album, but lately his music is kind of all the same, go dumb this and go dumb that.
Just my opinion.
