I much appreciate all the feedback.

I have an SLR Olympus (film) which I hardly use since I picked up my Nikon (digital).

It is not the camera that makes the photographer so just keep that in mind. Any digital camera should service any of your needs all the same these days. The camera is just a tool that requires proper usage. All carpenters may own the same tools but it is how they utilize them that seperates the men from the boys. If you want to learn about photography I would suggest you study up on aperture & shutter speeds as well as composition & how to incorporate that into your picture taking. Those are pretty much the basics & enough to get you started. I am self taught so I know it can be done without schooling.

Ahhh...the 7i huh? Sick...I'm about to cop the Nikon D1000 6.1mp once I wrap up a few projects...although I drop this loaf of bread to buy it something even tighter will come out which blows. Manual modes are the key to innovative flicks comrade...I look forward to seeing some of your flicks...I'll post a few more flicks later tonight.

I've been doing the photography thing for about 6 months. If I'm motivated to learn something new it takes me no time to pick it up.

I wanted to get into photography because I got tired of searching high & low for pics in books, magazines, etc to use in my designs. Plus, I wanted to make my designs more original so I wanted to take the pics of my clients for their covers so it was more creative than just your normal Olan Mills crap.
