like i said it varies by state, i got two of them in the same week back in august, but i had a clean record so i got off pretty easy, both were dropped from my record and i kept my licence, but i paid like 800$ and had to do community service for 32 hours and wear an alcohol monitor for two weeks

depends, but sometimes 1year of no license even if you don't have it yet, so you can't get your license until the case is dismissed. you usually get community service, like 50 hours or so, and sometimes probation, which might include bottle testing cause you got caught for alcohol and/or like 10oclock curfew.
