I didn't post this in the sports forum cause I don't consider Tyson to be an athlete anymore. 'nuff said
Iron Mike Tyson was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona on one count of criminal charges after allegedly climbing onto the hood of a car outside the Pussycat Lounge, on November 27th.
22-year-old Asaf Alikadic told police he stopped his car to let Tyson cross the street. “As I was getting ready to leave, before I could get onto Camelback Road, I had to stop to let some people cross,” Alikadic told us.
Within seconds, according to Alikadic, Tyson started shouting at him and then jumped on the hood of his Toyota Solara and began pounding it, causing an estimated $1400 worth of damage.
“I think he was just out having a good time with his friends,” said Alikadic.
Last year, Tyson told “CJ” he didn’t think a black athlete could get a fair trial in America, when we spoke to him outside a New York courthouse, where he answered to charges of assaulting two men in Brooklyn. Tyson pleaded guilty and avoided jail time in that case. In this new case, the victim says he does not want Tyson to go to jail -- he just wants his car fixed.
“The main issue is he was intoxicated, and sometimes you do things you really can’t, or don’t have control over, at that moment,” observed Alikadic.
News of the incident comes just days after the New York Post reported a depressed Tyson has been drowning in debt and abusing cocaine. Tyson's manager denies those allegations and confirms Mike is back in the ring. He's set to train with boxing legend Roberto Duran for a comeback fight in March.
Tyson's attorneys are conducting their own investigation. Cops believe the former heavyweight champion will make his initial court appearance sometime within the next ten days
