i would pick it up if. no one was yelling "norte/sur" and just made it about music ,hip-hop and the slowly but surely unifacation of us all.

i dont think it could happen, the mentalility of our regions are completelely different. The styles are different too, NORCAL latinos are able to appeal to more than just lations, SOCAL latins cant seem to stop rappin 100% about bangin.

since i hang with alot of boys in blue i listen to alot of the mexican so cal rappers. alot sucks but some are actually good.

mr capone e and mr criminal both have some good songs
mr. silent has a good song once and awhile
snapper plain sucks
lokote just talks on beats mainly
scrappy loco can rap
malow mac can rap
lil cuete can rap and sing
stomper can rap <--- prolly one of the best
mr trippalot is ok

i dont really hear alot of northern rappers.....i just laugh at cd covers of woodie cuz its just plain funny. i like 1 big oso song.

most mexican rappers DO suck. thats why mainly i stick to my rap roots.

no haters from what i'm about to say... i was born in the bay area and ended up having split up parents in which i had to live half my year in vallejo and the other half of the year in South San Diego... now i am permanant in the bay area... however in living this live and being mexican i naturally ended up gettin caught up in the gang biz... i was actually a sureno... but now im just about my paper and mostly everyone respects that... however... growing up in the north and south i was able to hear much of both sides music and there is alot of talent on both sides. i can honestly say i didn favor one side of music more then the other because there were some norteno rappers that actually had some good songs that were bout things other then gangbangin. and north and south collabs arent really anything new. Capone and Sir Dyno did a track together and it was tight as hell... also Mr. Shadow of San Diego had been working with Sidewayz Ent. wich works with bay artists, so i dont see this not happening. From knowing alot of sureno rappers myself, most of em are just out to make a quick buck. and if a quick buck means doing a track with the same people they rap about, then im sure most would be down for it. i dunno though... just my opinion... but when other side gets down and puts down a track about being proud to be a mexican... it is a GREAT track... imma post a track for all you raza out there and tell me what you think... then i'll give you some history on the artist...

i doubt it...alot of sureno rap i hear they yell out their gangs. so i doubt they would rap with the enemy for a quick buck.
