Meteor shower???

So its 430 in the morning and I just came in from smoking. During the time it took me to complete a cigarette I saw 12 very visible shooting stars... it must be a meteor shower... or the end of the world as we know it.

are you fucking serious i was in palo alto around 2 am after the club and i swear i saw some shooting light in the sky. dam maybe i really did see that shit. i just happened to glance up it was only there for a second

i seen a couple just now an i was in turlock, then again it could be all the ingridients in me that made the stars seem to move

2009 Meteor Showers

The next meteor shower is the Quadrantids in the evening of January 3, 2009. This obscure shower produces some of the fastest meteors, and can put on superb displays. But it doesn’t last long, and it occurs during the dead of winter, so it’s not very popular. This is a good year for the shower because the Moon sets around midnight, leaving dark skies for morning meteor watching
