Tight shit!! 8.5/10
Yup. I just listened to it at Sadclown's page, and I'm gettin' it ASAP...only track that I wasn't really feeling was "Like What (Bad Boppers In The Club)." Otherwise, the rest of the CD's cool. To me, Mess sounds as dope as ever, and the one thing that you have to say for all his solos is that the production's always full-sounding and clean (no bass turned up too high due to bad engineering, etc).

Mess (so far) seems good at putting out consistent CDs that you can dig from start to finish (and I would include his CD w/ Marvaless from last year in that category, too). Even if there's some songs that you like better than others, you can still play his stuff all the way through and stay interested...Hell, anyone who can make songs about girls still sound "street" is okay in my book! Just my view, though.

PEACE!

From what i've heard so far it sounds real polished compared to his older albums, and on top of that i've yet to hear a recycled beat or verse...which is rare for messy.

haha damn i didnt' expect all of these bad reviews. i listened to it a couple times thru now and the only song that i really won't listen to is that song with too short. some of those beats are slappin too but most of yall wouldn't know cuz u r just hearing it on northern-ridaz haha. i liked turf politics and still explosive a lot but i think there are more good songs on this. maybe this album is like e-40's last one, all these bad reviews but then when people actually hear it a couple times they'll realize that it's a good album.

after hearing it a few times now i'm gonna stick with a 8.5/10

I feel what you're sayin'...when TURF POLITICS first came out in '02, I remember posters here and elsewhere (Bayridaz.com, Raptalk.net, etc) who claimed to be "disappointed", because they felt that it was too short in length compared to STILL EXPLOSIVE, and others complained that it had some recycled verses and songs. But in recent months, people seem to have changed their opinions, and I've read posts here and elsewhere dealing w/ Mess where people now say TURF POLITICS is a "classic" or at least "as good as" STILL EXPLOSIVE. Hell, some even like it BETTER than STILL EXPLOSIVE!

So yeah, that could end up happening w/ DISOBAYISH. A lot of CDs take time to marinate in your brain until you're used to them (even though I do like it now, and suspect I'll like it even more when I'm listening to it on REAL equipment and not my dinky little computer speakers! LOL)! But it's all a matter of personal taste...

PEACE!

^ i feel you mayne. that is what i am going to do. this cd is tighter then the turf poltics. The only songs i liked from turf poltics was the one with rappin 4 tay and the cut with e40 and b legit. this album is way more solid.

-------proppa has got it right.

Who ever is choosing radio tracks needs to make "Baby" the one. That will appeal to the general radio listeners and cash out properly.

"Thats whats Up" has a fly beat, but too reppettive--make that part a hook already!
