that is a decision for a court of law, not his employer if he performs sufficiently.

I aint an angry dude myself I got a family to worry about so this is all entertainment / good news(sports wise). but I think a suspension is what he should get considering he's an adult/ milionaire/ public figure...

to play the nfl is a privledge not a right. this is not the 1st time merriman has got in trouble tho. he got his second chance with the roids and other shit.

his bad. he gots to own up to what his did and has done. if he can't learn his lesson and wants to be babied by the league and the law his view on the way the world works is completely fucked up.

it is a privledge to play proffessional sports, period. just because a law/statue/ordinance is written/passed, doesnt always make it right. sorry, but i dont support everything about the system.

who are we to judge though?

as far as I know she could have totaly warrented an ass whoopin. u poke the bull and not expect to get the horns u trippin. there is a reason to whoop anybodys ass. u can find a reason to kick an oldman down a flight of stairs just don't do it.

and this has nothing to do with our legal system tho. I think certain sentances like 5-10 years (non violent offenses) are bullshit. but get violent and cause a person to go to the hospital then u should get punished. if merriman crippled a dude in a bar fight he didn't start. then I would be on his side. if tila pulled a knife on him in an argument then I got his back. we will see what happens
