Oakland originated the dances and movements that fueled it all... but FAIRFIELD touched the term and made it into "music(?)"
its understandable for the town to be credited for all of this but i doubt it should be... the town got TWO rappers really (in FAB & Keak) who are really about the hyphy shit right now... and they both switched they styles up to cater to the recent shift in popularity
when i think town shit not one "hyphy" song comes to mind

I stand by what I said - The reason I put the fan percentage so high is that, realistically, that 80% that you speak of that want to be in the music business aint going to get no further than being a fan anyway.
As far as rallying the troops comment is concerned, I meant the ideal in general - meaning my comment wasn't directed at your one post that started this thread. Unity will come with sales.
