I dont think youre getting the concept....Hammer is a Hip Hop Legend. They werent in search of a Bay artist. They wanted to reunite Hammer with MTV and his old fans. The emcees named above are Bay Legends. We know that and thats what matters. I loved the performance.

Why does everyone try and hate on MC Hammer, straight up he is a Rap Legend, not just a bay area legend or another bay artist, he is a Legend in the game. And don't act like yall didn't have his tapes back then. Damn near every rapper in the bay still has mad respect for Hammer cuz he did his thing and is still doin it. I've heard some of his new tracks and they are hot, but people wanna act like an artist can't evolve. His music has evolved over time just as damn near every artists music does over such a large period of time. I was glad to see him on the VMA's cuz even if some peeps out here ain't reppin for Hammer, he still reppin for us.

Yeah 50 said Fat Joe is a pussy, fuck Fat Joe, fuck Terror Squad ... and he tryed to jump on stage before that to clear it up with Joe but security wont let him up on stage, you couldnt see it on camera ...

i missed hammers performance but ill catch it when they re-run it, i agree though hammer is a legend, i always say hammer was ahead of his time cuz if ya think about it people say hammer "sold out" and faded away when he started doin taco bell commercials and havin a saturday mornin cartoon and having a hammer doll, but shiiiet what do you see now?? snoop got a doll, eminem got action figures and i coulda swore i read 40 water gonna have a cartoon...hammer been there and done that. i came home the otha day and heard from my bros room "turn this motha out!!!!" i was like yeeeeeeeeaaaa...haha

they might of clipped it out for the West Coast people.. i have Direct TV so i get the Eastern time version, which is live. when its delayed on the west they usually chop it to pieces.. i heard they bleeped out Fat Joe's remarks about 50 also on the Pacific time version.
