The state fair is goin on here in Oklahoma and MC Hammer is being featured as the free concert (with paid admission). This dude has sold so many freakin cd's and this dude is doing free concerts now.

I got a lot of respect for this dude but he gets clowned a lot. What's y'alls general opinions of MC Hammer?

Good for Hammer, he just had a big heart with TERRIBLE business sense.

Did any of you guys peep his album from when he was on Death Row when it leaked a few years ago? It was some of the worst rapping I've ever heard, but the production and features together made up for it. Had 2pac, Nuttso, Big Daddy Kane, Mac Mall, Numskull and some others.

Hammer got bread. When folks was sayin he was broke, that was to Hollywood/Music Industry standard of broke. Not to our standard.

In Hollywood/Industry if Actor/Performer/Singer/Rapper had 25 Mill, and then took a loss and now only has 5 Mill, THEY will say that person is BROKE. But what is 5 Mill to US? The have nots? Shit thats ALOT of money.....Hammer is living comfortable. Nice house, sendin kids to college, nice cars,...all this and I aint seen him bagging groceries nowhere..so he must have a lil somthin

I almost put Master P and MC Hammer in the same category. Both made hustler moves, lived well beyond their means after they made tons of cash, made some smart business moves and a bunch of crappy ones but at least they helped their communities and tried to reach out to help others out there
