I'd rather watch a lack luster 24/7 and see a damn fight in the RING...where it matters, then watch Floyd and his crackhead ass family make idiots out of themselves for everyone to see, and in the ring get 12 rounds of Nyquil.
Sorry, but as much as I appreciate Floyd's defensive mastery, its boring as fuck to watch to me, and most of the people I know feel the same way. He was a much more entertaining fighter in the lower weight divisions, where he actually took a few chances in the ring.
Fuck a 24/7 building up a fight that isn't going to deliver any type of action.
Boxing, as far as we the fans are concerned is all about entertainment, and someone like Floyd, a fighter who's last priority in a fight is entertaining anyone but his accountant....shouldn't be on TV promising fireworks, and delivering nothing but sparklers on fight night.
Um, no. I'm one of those fans who is more interested in what goes on IN the ring, then the trash talk that goes on outside of the ring.
And um, before the De La Hoya-Mayweather fight, Floyd was promising a war...fireworks, and said that it was going to be non-stop action.
Did you see the De La Hoya-Mayweather fight?
None of that happened.
That's why I don't pay for Mayweather fights. And almost all of the casual boxing fans I talked to about this super hyped fight thought it was boring as fuck, and felt ripped off.
hahahaha, wtf are you smoking? Ali had some WARS, he was involved in some of the greatest heavyweight fights of all time. Mayweather has never been in a war, never had to dig deep. Ali dug deep constantly, that's why he's considered the greatest HW of all time. If Mayweather was HW champ back then, he probably would have ducked George Foreman and Joe Fraizer saying he could get more money fighting Chuck Wepner!!
Mayweather is such a fucking faggot. When does Pacquiao EVER say he wants to fight somebody? He ALWAYS says it's up to his promoter and his job is to FIGHT. I don't recall him saying he wanted to fight De La Hoya, Hatton or Cotto. That's not what he does. They give him an opponent and he fights. Mayweather doesn't understand that not everybody is like him, picking and choosing fights on his own and making sure his opponents are guys he can beat. I don't think Pacquiao gives a fuck who he fights so it's completely up to Freddie Roach and Bob Arum.
Manny is a great ass fighter and I got much respect for him especially after he turn Cotto's grill into lunch meat with his power punching and quickness..... BUT Cotto doesn't have the elusiveness like PBF ,and PBF can also hit you from many angles as well as counter well. Its hard for me to really pick a clear favorite right now at this moment but I'd have to lean slightly towards Mayweather. Regardless of the end result this fight is gonna be off the hoooook for boxing and its fans!
