Whoever says let him fight = Chuck Liddell, Rampage, Randy Couture, Fedor, Tito, Cro Cop, etc.

And he'll get his assed kick is a dumb ass.

Of course he will get his ass kicked because Cro Cop is like 100 lbs more than him. That would be a fair fight...

And its not one of thoses Bob Sapp cases, where Sapp is 150 lbs more than who he's fighting but their still heavyweights.

Shogun Locc has the right idea. If he was to fight in MMA let him fight Franca, Sherk, or BJ Penn. At 155 lbs or even lower.

There are always excepetions...im speaking on the "average" pro sports player. And by average, i do not mean someone who is average at their sport, but average as in the majority of that particular sport.

My point is, Mayweather is a boxer...nothing more.

MMA fighters getting general training in everything. Maywethare saying he can fight someon in MMA AT THAT style, is ludacris. THey go through rigorious training to get there.

Put a boxer in an MMA fight against an MMA fighter, of course he will lose.

The same way any top level MMA fighter would get his ass mollywhopped by any journeyman pro level boxer in a boxing match. Even the best MMA strikers, punching wise, would get mopped up by any pro boxer in the same weight class.

It would depend on the rules of the fight really.

Couldn't see Mayweather taking a fight like this though, his hands are brittle and would crumble on contact, with those gloves they wear.

^^but smaller, lighter gloves would mean a pro boxers punch would be that more devastating..but like u said, its all about what rules theyre fighting under.

i dunno if you guys know but heavyweight fights used to use 14ounce gloves but they were doing so much damage that they switched to lighter gloves so the punches werent so heavy so i dunno about the lighter gloves being more damaging, but any mma fighter gets into a boxing ring with mayweather would loose, and mayweathers odds of beating a mma fighter with the mma rules are alot greater then any mma fighter in a boxing match

Jens Pulver has a nice boxing record hes racked up a couple of impressive wins when he left the UFC the firstime to pursue more money. No contest whatsoever

Sean Sherk > Floyd Mayweather via KO by slamming his head to the canvas. Theres so many lightweights in the UFC that could knock him out. I think Kenny Florian could knock his ass out, given that he clinches mayweather the first few seconds and demonstate to pretty boy floyd what a muay thai kick the the skull followed by some knees then end it choking the life out of him by way of rear naked choke. Shit slap a kimora and watch him wince in pain.... theres so many ways of winning a fight in MMA boxing takes skill into finding out an opponents weakness. Floyd will never have the opportunity to set his feet and plant a KO blowing shot.

i used to think this would play a factor, BUT mostly everyone who trains Muay Thai or stand up are training with 16 to 18oz gloves !!! it's not like if you in MMA your traning with 4oz gloves all day !!!

its good to be used to 16's though, theyre heavier.. and your punches will be harder and faster.
